Brad Paisley maps new tour dates for 2012 Tour :
Brad Paisley continues to shape the 2012 concert schedule which played in front of more than a million people last year.

The country star kicks off the run May 21 in Virginia Beach, VA, and currently has dates lined up through Sept. 25 in Englewood, CO. Some of the shows, featuring support from Darius Rucker, will be part of Live Nation's multi-show, one-price County Megaticket promotion; more info can be found at the Megaticket website. Earlier this month, the singer was transported to a hospital by ambulance after falling on stage during a performance in Charleston, SC. The singer--who bounced back up and finished the show before leaving for the hospital--was examined by doctors and found to be badly bruised but otherwise not seriously injured, and was subsequently discharged.

The country star has performed for more than 1.2 million people over the last 12 months, selling out shows in 52 of the 75 cities he's appeared in, according to a press release. A fan at Paisley's Oct. 15 show in Jacksonville, FL, was selected as Paisley's one-millionth ticket-holder of the year and presented with a 2009 Chevy truck.

Released last June, "American Saturday Night"--Paisley's eighth studio set--debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and No. 2 on The Billboard 200.

In November, the country singer co-hosted the CMA Awards for the second straight year, and also took home a pair of trophies: Male Vocalist of the Year and Music Event of the Year for "Start a Band," his duet with Keith Urban.

Brad Paisley Extends American Saturday Night Tour into 2010 :
Brad Paisley tour has extended dates to the highly successful Brad Paisley tour into 2012, adding 19 dates with Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore as special guests.

The tour, named after Paisley's most recent album of the same name, has added dates beginning in January 2010 and ending in March. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and has produced two hit singles thus far, "Then" and "Welcome To The Future." Paisley has also been nominated seven times for the upcoming CMA Awards in November. Brad Paisley tour will also co-host the awards with Carrie Underwood for the second year in a row.

Miranda Lambert, known for her redneck/rocker style, debuted her third album, Revolution, last week atop Billboard's Country Album chart. This makes her one of three artists whose first three albums all landed at the No. 1 spot upon release, joining LeAnn Rimes and Gretchen Wilson.

Meanwhile, Justin Moore is the only new artist in 2009 to have a No. 1 song with "Small Town USA." He is also the first solo artist to have a song from his/her debut album go No. 1 since Taylor Swift's "Our Song" in December 2007. He has previously toured with Trace Adkins, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Hank Williams, Jr.

Reigning ACM and CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Brad Paisley is pleased to announce his 2012 tour with special guests Dierks Bentley and Jimmy Wayne. The kick-off date for the 41 city tour has a schedule for dates in June 5 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Brad Paisley announced dates for his American Saturday Nights tour. The tour will begin June 5th in Charlotte, NC and end October 17th in West Palm Beach, FL with 41 dates in between. Opening acts on the tour include Dierks Bentley and Jimmy Wayne. Brad is currently finishing up his Paisley Party tour with opening act Darius Rucker which has been selling out almost every night.

The American Saturday Night tour dates with special guests Dierks Bentley and Jimmy Wayne currently spans nearly 40 US and Canadian cities from coast to coast, with more dates expected. The road trip is scheduled to launch on June 5th in Charlotte, NC, and visit a host of amphitheaters, festivals and fairs through mid-October. THen there’s even more dates planned for 2012.

Brad Paisley says Good Morning America - Country Style
Brad Paisley announced that he will be the first country artist to play Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series this year at the new location of Central Park in New York City. The performance will help boost interest in the album launch for his upcoming June 30 release, American Saturday Night.

This week Brad Paisley is in studio putting the finishing touches on this upcoming album but will spend a very American Saturday Night at a White House Correspondents’ Dinner, as the guest of CBS News’ Chief White House Correspondent Bob Schieffer. Brad Paisley and Schieffer met in the Fall of 2008 at a special Grand Ole Opry show at the Ryman Auditorium during Belmont University’s Debate ’08. Several Hollywood celebrities and Washington elite, including President Barack Obama, are scheduled to attend the dinner.

Paisley’s current single, “Then,” is number six on the singles charts after only seven weeks at radio. This is the fastest rising single of Paisley’s illustrious career – so far. More tour dates for 2012 to be released soon.

Brad Paisley Biography (Brief) :

Contemporary country singer/songwriter Brad Paisley was born October 28, 1972, in Glen Dale, WV; given his first guitar at age eight, he delivered his first public performance at church two years later. With his 50-something guitar teacher Clarence "Hank" Goddard and two of the older man's seasoned musician buddies, the teenaged Brad Paisley formed his first band, the C-Notes, and at age 12 began writing his own material. After performing in front of the local Rotary Club, he was invited to appear on Wheeling station WWVA's famed Saturday night broadcast Jamboree USA. Paisley's debut was so well received that he was invited to join the program full-time, and in the years to follow he opened for the likes of the Judds, Roy Clark, and Little Jimmy Dickens. He later attended Nashville's Belmont University, serving an internship with ASCAP; the contacts Brad Paisley made there helped him land a songwriting deal with EMI, and he also appeared on countless demos. Signing to Arista, he issued his debut solo album, Who Needs Pictures, in 1999. The record produced two chart-topping singles in "He Didn't Have to Be," an ode to loving stepfathers, and "We Danced" and also earned generally positive reviews for its diversity of country styles. In the meantime, Brad Paisley recorded a duet with Chely Wright, "Hard to Be a Husband, Hard to Be a Wife," for the Backstage at the Grand Ole Opry compilation; the two later collaborated on several songs for Wright's Never Love You Enough album. The sequel to Paisley's debut, Part II, was released in 2001 and promptly returned him to the Top Five with "Two People Fell in Love." "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin' Song)" gave Brad Paisley his third chart-topper, and "Wrapped Around" fell one spot short of becoming his fourth. "I Wish You'd Stay" became the fourth Top Ten hit from the record in early 2003. At the beginning of August 2005, Brad Paisley put together a short "director's commentary" preview of his next album for his fan base to download. The full album, Time Well Wasted, appeared two weeks later and narrowly missed the top of the album charts, though it did hit number one on the country charts.
